Towns

I've been reading up a bunch of second edition books and was wondering if we'll see the towns of Luskan, Nesme, and more.

Coming towns:

Secomber, Tall Trees (elven community), Daggerford, Yartar, Red Larch and Golden Fields.

Eventually, Everlund, Sundabar, Long Saddle, Nesme, Silverymoon and Waterdeep are hoped for as well.

Neverwinter, Luskan and Baldur's Gate would likely need to have a second module added to pull off.

I know that Nesme is up on the north west corner of the evermoors, which is north west of the high forest ... it's further away than silverymoon! Luskan is even further, right on the waters of the sword coast, north of the neverwinter woods (it's somewhat over 500 miles away from loudwater by the 3.5ed map)

If expansion was to happen along the delimbiyr river .. Secomber is probably the closest place.

There's also locations inside the high forest like 'tall trees', which is supposedly a community of druids ... "in the settlement now known as Tall Trees, once the Eaerlanni capital city of Teuveamanthaar"


Peeking at my map shows places like the stronghold of the nine, the endless caverns, hall of four ghosts, dancing falls, noanar's hold, citadel of the mists. there's also the dungeon of the hark, ruins of dekanter.. nomnom. They all strike me as dungeony types though rather than towns. <<

As a rule ... anything from the map on page 174 of the FRCS 3.5 is fair game. So Evereska is possible, though it'd not be anywhere to scale. Just a few select areas. Same for Waterdeep and many other areas. The idea would be to have just enough maps devouted to give them a proper "feel". Keep in mind, that the bulk of our areas will focus on the High Forest and lands nearby though.

if you're looking at adding towns... once the builders mod is revamped and released, I'd be happy to throw together Noanar's Hold. I've built the layout of the town once before. Shouldn't take me long to hammer out another one for you to fill with life.

Also, if you're looking as far west as Goldenfields... I would like to offer you the hillock town of Bargewright Inn. This was another proud build I accomplished a few years ago. Would love to try it again with new resources to build from.
