Description:
Tall and broad shouldered, Anton is a half-Orc with grayish skin. His coarse, strikingly white, hair ever kept neatly in a ponytail. He is well groomed; his clothing is ornate but not flamboyant and smells softly of fine wine and the various fragrant ingredients that go into making it. One could say Anton is of average handsomeness or looks if his heritage doesn't overshadow their stance. He is well spoken and his voice deep and thunderous yet harmonious and melodious in tone. He smiles even in the presence of adversity.
Backstory:
Anton was a slave to a very prosperous man, Evendur Rosemead. Evendur owned a distillery, a mill, and an assortment of other trades, including cultivating grapes.
Anton was a miller, to which he was given the old usage of a last name, Turnstone. And Tel Nimpeth for the city in which he worked at.
Nimpeth is best known for it's wine (its vineyards are among the best in Faerun), its mercenaries, and its slave trade.
Anton always lived by the saying, "work smarter, not harder," and would often employ ingenious ideas of his own to get his work done with less hardship on himself.
He was keen and learned quickly. Often watching his aged master, a retired wizard of adventuring profession, and picked up a few cantrips.
The wizardly entrepreneur started to bond a closer friendship with the gray half-orc. Evendur began, albeit only on the home property, treat Anton as a son, rather than an half-breed slave.
Evendur taught Anton the basics of the weave, reading and writing, economics, mannerisms, and the wizard's favorite hobby, wine making.
The elderly Evendur had increasingly become sick over the years. Anton stuck by his deathbed, comforting the Evendur.
It was his wish and will to leave Anton everything, but his children, who cared not for their father but only his riches, caught news of his death and the rumors of Anton being the heir. They would not have none of it.
So greedy were the hearts of his children, they pointed finger at Anton and accused him of foul play. The law, and Nimpeth were not on Anton's side.
Luckily Anton knew of the hidden tunnels under the mansion that traveled below the vineyards and far away from the city. He procured a boat and retreated down the Nagaflow, never to look back again.
