I can still here game music running normally but screen is black. So only option is to quit nwn and can't do that even from game. Anyone have any idea what's wrong and what I should do? and yes I noticed this problem today.. on Wednesday game worked normalle but after that someone add more ram to my computer.. but that shouldn't cause problems?!?

Sounds like one of the program files may have corrupted. You could try running a defrag of you hard drive but I am guessing you will need to re-install
Assuming you have space backup the entire NWN folder (and all sub folders) to another location on your hard drive.
Then Uninstall Nwn Completely
Then re-install NWN - Test (should work again)
Run the NWN updater to get to 1.69
You will be able to copy all the hak, tlk, vault files back from backup copy you made of the holder to save having to load the CEP and all the Hak's again. When you have it all working as you want it then delete the backup copy

Actually, the symptoms sound like too little memory. Try opening up your task manager to see how much memory you really have and how much is used when loading NWN first. Then use the "NWCONFIG" program in your NWN Main folder and and using the change option have it auto detect your settings.

These are some solutions found on the net 1 - Try updating your BIOS 2 - One way around it is to Alt-Tab out of NWN then go back into NWN. There will be a slight delay when you maximize NWN again but the menu should be visible. Alt+tab back to desktop, wait about 5 secs then Alt+tab back. 3 - From nwn.bioware.com/support/known.htmlNeverwinter Nights Known Issues Black Screen after choosing a character (or creating a new character) and clicking play One possible cause of this is if your computer has a corrupted "temp" folder in the Neverwinter Nights directory (or a file called "temp" with no file extension). Deleting the "temp" file/folder or renaming it should fix the problem. 4 - Check if the display drivers are installed and working properly on the computer. All the devices which are connected to the computer require appropriate drivers to be installed on the computer so that the device will work properly. If appropriate drivers for the device are not installed then the device will not work properly. To check whether the display drivers are installed and working properly on the computer, go to device manager and highlight the display adapter. Check if there are any caution signs. If there are any caution signs, then follow the troubleshooting procedure. If troubleshooting does not help then try to update the drivers manually and see if the game works.
