Is it possible for us to get some sort of map making tool? For us to chart each place we go and we can get some sort of overview of the whole server but we would make it ourselves

Not currently I'm afraid. There are a couple of "Baldur's Gate" style map systems on the Vault though. I've looked over a few and they could be added at some point, but not likely anytime soon either. I'd need to create some actual maps and a data base to store each player's map info first. So while there are some nice premade systems, they all need tweaking to "fit" here. since I'd have to also make a custom hak for such, it goes into the custom hak pile with other things like more classes/prestige classes and new weapon and armor appearances.

*is currently using the old-fashioned method "somewhere else" and is working on about 10 pages of lines and bubbles with no end in sight*
*grumbles at the fact that it will take longer to map than it took to build, but is enjoying seeing all the little details he's missed over the years*

Actually I also use Excel for mapping, that works pretty well.
