Roseanne Bell Devereux; Aldric holds a need to protect both of his sisters, but Roseanne has always seemed to be the most tame, and now that she watches their mother in safety he has loosened his grip, though ever so slightly.
Important Friends: Other than his siblings Aldric's training has kept him away from making close friends.
History
At an early age Aldric was swiftly cast into a world of profound mental and physical training. It was his fathers idea, being a Guardsword in the city of Waterdeep, he wanted his only son to follow suite, and but most of all be well prepared for excellence. Being as how Donovan was away for much of his youth, his father entrusted an old war buddy to train Aldric personally. Tychander is what he went by and Aldric learned little else about him as the years went by. Though a disheveled looking individual Tychander was nothing to scoff at. He allowed nothing to get by him, and was always quick to anger.
When Aldric was young he remembers accidentally referring to Tychander as father, and training was cut short leaving Aldric with a black eye and bloody nose. "You...whelp...have forgotten the face of your father." Though his training was rough Aldric grew quickly from Tychander's teachings, and of course, to never forget the face of his father.
When not training on his swordsmanship Aldric participated in lectures with his two sisters on various topics from literature or geography. Attended these lectures is more like it, Aldric always seemed to take less away from those classes than his siblings.
Though his training took up most of his time he always found a way to escape and enjoy life with his younger sisters, even if it often meant boxed ears the next morning from Tychander. He loved his two sisters, and quickly learned that their curiosity would mean he would be spending much of his time chasing after them to keep them out of whatever trouble they tend to find themselves in. Perhaps that is why Aldric took so much pride in his swordsmanship.
Devastating events occurred when news reached the family of their father's death on the battlefield. Lillian fell into depression, and eventually moved to her sisters outside of Waterdeep. Annabelle seemed to always be itching to get out and see the world, perhaps it was realization that life is too short to experience through books and lectures. Aldric may never know for certain, but she made her decision to leave home, and he wasn't about to let her travel the world on her own.

"I do not guide with my hand; he who guides with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.
I guide with my eye.
I do not strike with my hand; he who strikes with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.
I strike with my mind.
I do not kill with my blade; he who kills with his blade has forgotten the face of his father.
I kill with my heart."
