This young woman is full of life and often lets her curiosity get the better of her. She is well-mannered and does her best to be helpful in all or most situations.

Relationships
Parents: Annabelle was raised in a household where her mother (Lillian Devereux) did the majority of the work in regards to raising the children. She was a traveling musician in her youth, but after meeting Annabelle’s father (Donovan Devereux) she settled down in Waterdeep, married, had children and joined an orchestra that often played for the local theatre. She was an inspiring woman, teaching Annabelle how to play the violin as well as sing, and prior to her husband’s death, was always full of life and love.
Donovan Devereux, her father, was a Sergeant in Waterdeep’s military and spent a lot of time away from the family. When he was around, he was a very strict and orderly man, though not entirely unkind and spent much time training Annabelle’s brother in the ways of combat.
About a year ago, though, their father died in combat and left their mother widowed and depressed. Their mother was moved to live with other family members to try to keep her spirits high, while she encouraged her children to live their lives to the fullest and see the world for themselves.
Siblings: Annabelle has two siblings: a twin sister by the name of Roseanna and an older brother by the name of Aldric. Roseanna and Annabelle were always very close, though Roseanna’s interests were not always the same as Annabelle’s. Roseanne was less interested in learning music than Annabelle, but excelled in athletics. Aldric, being her older brother, has always been a little on the protective side of his sisters. Aldric followed Annabelle when she left on her journey, while Roseanne stayed behind to help tend after their mother.
Other Important Relatives: Annabelle’s mother is living with her sister, Elizabeth Parkins and her husband David Parkins. The two live in a small house on a farm outside of Waterdeep and are very attentive to Lillian’s needs.
Important Friends: Annabelle’s closest friends have always been her siblings, though she has made many friends within her community of her own age. Though there was a large amount, none of them were of much influence.
History
Annabelle was raised in a middle-class family in the city of Waterdeep. She has a twin sister named Roseanne, and an older brother by the name of Aldric. The three of them were raised by their Musician mother, Lillian, with their father mostly away from the city for business with the Military, in which he was a Sergeant.
Lillian promoted knowledge and exploring interests to her children and had them tutored in Mathematics, Reading and Writing, Geography, with a year in Etiquette as well as an elective of their choice. While her brother was trained in swordplay and her sister in horseback, Annabelle was taught by her mother how to play musical instruments, sing, and even write music of her own.
Their father, Donovan, on the other hand, was a very militant and strict man and placed the expectation on his daughters that they were to become housewives as soon as possible. Lillian, having done much travel as a musician before settling down and becoming married, continued to encourage their children to pursue their dreams, even after their father had tragically died in the heat of battle.
After a year of mourning, Annabelle took her mother’s word and decided to go out and see the world, for herself and do what her heart desired. She packed her violin, what money she had at her disposal and what clothing she could fit in a sack, before kissing her mother goodbye and beginning her journey.
