A cleric taking levels in rogue apparently loses the ability to use clerical scrolls.
The UMD from the rogue class overrides the cleric class when determining whether the scroll can be used, even if the character has no points in UMD.
I've spoken to Dav and he suggests that it's something to do with the ordering of scripts.
Dav, if you have a solution please PM it to me and I will pass on to the other DMs. Thanks.

Alright, I found this regarding UMD.
"The special check for using a scroll at hardcore difficulty or higher does not apply to scrolls with no class limitations, to characters with at least one bard, sorcerer, or wizard level, nor to characters who have the spell in question prepared (ready to cast). It does apply to all other characters who have at least one rank in UMD, even if that character has a class that is allowed to use the scroll normally."
From this I assume a rogue/arcanist is fine but a rogue/divine caster has drawbacks.
Davros ... have a DM give your cleric a few scrolls of various types. Make sure that some are spells you have memorised and some not. According to the info above, spells in memory should kill the UMD check for the scroll used. I just need this verified before digging further.
*mutters and throws stuff at Bioware*

Ah .. OK. Well two things then. Make sure she isn't Lawful since she's taken a rogue class and (just an alignment shift if she needs it) and then test out what I posted previously with her.
**The only sure fix I've found so far would disable a rogues UMD check and use a spellhook to roll for each scroll, each time. It would also give any caster a chance of failing if a scroll from their class exceeds their level to cast. Which would make flame scroll and GMW and many others about worthless, even to the maker since they cast at 17th level from a scroll.

Well I can answer to this one.. No worries.. She isn't lawful at all. And hopefully we can test that spell thing in the next week when I have returned.

Let me know when you can is all. I've been looking through Biowares UMD function and it's ... uhm .. a mess. I can understand why it works as it does, but don't understand why they did it that way. In essence though, if clerics (or other divine casters like rangers and paladins) we're forced to use the UMD check when they have but a single rogue or bard level ... they'd be able to use all scrolls. And it's not being a rogue or bard that causes this issue either. It's having 1 or more points in UMD that does it. (or so all that I can find claims)
Very likely we'll have to decide if cleric/rogues merely suffer or I rewrite ever spell and spell like ability in the game. If it comes to a massive complete spell fixing, it'll be something I do over time. (likely a handful for each update, concentrating on the divine only spells first) Setting our module to not enforce hardcore UMD though would simply unbalance most classes in favor of the rogues.

It's having 1 or more points in UMD that does it. (or so all that I can find claims) They said they had no UMB (First question I asked when Arsey dragged me in to help diagnose). Point me in the direction of the script and I will have a gander as well..but if there is no way of telling spell from class then it will not be a small script to fix
