I was playing Saturday afternoon and I soloed the Grubber Fort. Was'nt sure if I'd survive but I did...Anyway after I slew the Chieftain and his lackeys I went to loot the place and the Tome was missing, the chest of coins was empty, the potion rack had nothing, and the wooden chest was gone. DM Disaster gave me a free loot this morning and wanted me to post so I did. Just letting you know.

Late reply is late. Sorry. But this just sounds like someone had raided the Grubber lair right before stormwulf did, so recently that the loot hadn't respawned yet. The wooden chest was gone? That's because whoever raided the chief's lair couldn't pick the lock, so they just hacked the chest to bits instead. But I did find out (maybe half a year ago) that if the Tome container gets destroyed, it doesn't respawn. That was from the one time when Lilibeza blasted that pack of goblins near the altar with one of her Serpent's Sigh spells; the altar's Tome and Potion containers also took damage from the Serpent's Sigh and went poof. So I had Lilibeza wait around for the tome to respawn, because Lilibeza just has to have those tomes. The Tome container didn't respawn. So I took her back outside and bent the rules a little by running her through the Grubbers Lair again (even though she was getting low on spells), thinking that that would prompt the Tome container to respawn. It didn't. So Lilibeza went back to Orlbar, tomeless and disappointed. Anyway, I guess that's how I'd like to amend this bug report about a year after the fact. Thanks.

Even destroyed loot "should" respawn. As I go through nitpicks and bugs, I'll double check their scripts to make certain. In a few cases, the respawn time could be longer/shorter by ten minutes one way or the other, especially in older placeables here.
