Here's a suggestion where I see a potential problem but might not have the best solution for it. Maybe someone more knowing of what's possible can think of a better solution.
If a character dies and has healing kits / raise dead scrolls in his pack then perhaps a way to allow party members to take those items so that they can use them on the fallen ally if they've run out of kits/scrolls themselves?
A way to achieve this might be to make the character become an undetectable ghost that can't move or attack but retains the items and can trade with close by allies. Obviously it requires a solution that can't be abused so there has to be consent from the fallen character as to who could take these items.

We've discussed this issue before a loooooong time ago. That was in a time when healing kits didn't allow for a chance at raising people and there was actually a market for Raise Dead scrolls. My suggestion would be to always have 1 raise scroll with you and make sure your party comrades do as well. Then stock up on healing kits. I would rather see Kalbaern work on other things than finding a way to "fix" unprepared adventurers.

Its a doable idea. I'll add it to "The List", but it goes on the bottom for now.
