From the elven realm of Everaska came a group of elves many dressed as hunters would dress. They followed the Black Road through the Graypeak Mountains and Dawn Pass bypassing Llorkh to the north. They crossed the River Loagrann northeast of Orlbar heading northwest. As they passed the two towns, Folk whispered the word "Rangers" as they traveled by. They passed near Dunkard's Mill where the mill workers counted three score at the least and headed north along the River Delimbiyr. For days they traveled upstream hugging the eastern border of the High Forest until they came to where the Old Road built by their ancestors from Eaerlann met the river. It was there that they built the village of Elven Port named for the purpose for which it was built, to be a port of entry for elves to enter the great wood as they work to reclaim it and resettle the areas that were once part of the Eaerlann Kingdom.

Elven Port
A long time ago, a prosperous elf town stood here on the verge of the High Forest, its docks and quays reaching to the upper Delimbiyr River. As one of the most accessible of the ruins of old Eaerlaan, Elven Port has been explored many times by adventuring bands. For many years the ruins of Elven Port harbored nothing more than the incidental marauders and predatory monsters that tend to lair in old ruins, and no great treasure or peril was found within, but that seems to have changed - no adventurers have returrned with news of this place in six years or more.
The old tower of the town's lord has been occupied by a powerful band of deamonfey, lead by Vaerilmor Floshin. Varilmor and his followers have been engaging in luring elf adventurers to this place and corrupting them with foul magic, plotting the eventual seizure of power over the elves of the High Forest.
