I don't have the exact numbers available for the skeleton summoned from the animate dead spell because I don't have access to the summon anymore however the duration for the skeleton was twice the Imps, 2 Turns / Level. I compare the Imp with the skeleton because Lesser Planar Binding and Animate Dead are both 5th circle spells. The suggestion: The Imp summoned from the Lesser Planar Binding spell should be improved. The current Imp: Level - 3 Attacks per round - 1 Attack - +6 Damage - 1-4 AC - 16 Hit Points - 16 DR - 5 Duration - 1 Turn / Level Link to the more powerful vanilla summon: nwn.wikia.com/wiki/Imp_(summon)I don't have the exact numbers so I'm going from memory. The skeleton warrior had good stats in all areas as well as having all the undead immunities and perks. He also came with a +1 longsword that could be further enhanced with flame weapon / keen and other such spells. The skeleton also had improved critical, weapon focus and epic weapon focus feats. The skeleton could easily deal enough damage to kill the summoned imp in a single strike. I want to use the Imp for roleplay reasons however the summon in its current state is useless and can barely handle the weakest enemies on the server. There are many ways you could improve the imp, either making it more suitable as a 5th circle tanking summon, dpser or utility with spells. However you do it, something has to make it worth taking over the skeletal summon. <3

We discussed this at length in-game yesterday. kalbaern, correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember that a lot of summons were nerfed because a few specific (and long-gone) players were using summons in such a way, that it made their own characters rather obsolete in battle. Isn't that true? One should always choose other PC party members over summons, so maybe make them stronger, but increase the xp penalty per kill for using them?

Yeah, I need to examine their blueprints and do some testing and calculating. Planar summons however are often weaker than normal summons of the same levels, so I'll be using normal summons as a base line to judge them.
