I've seen it implemented a few different ways but especially for Rangers would there be any chance of seeing the tracking ability down the road? We'll not be using any of the systems found on the NWN Vault (and adopted by some PWs) as they simply do not fit well with the mechanics of our module. After our big June 1st update though, areas will be revisted (some are being updated now actually) and details added as well as some features specific to both Rangers and Druids. - Map Eraser System: Some wilderness areas (mostly a few woods) use a set of triggers that continually erases your "mini maps". We'll be updating and expanding this system soon. Druids at 4th level and Rangers at 5th level will no longer have their maps erased while exploring wilderness areas making them useful as scouts for the rest of us. - Rangers (and Druids) already have bonuses here when it comes to foraging chances. - We'll be adding in more "flavor" triggers targetted at woodsy types, though often a known language, favored enemy, lore skill or other things might be required in addition. There's several other things in the works for both Rangers and Druids (as well as other classes/races) that I'd rather leave as suprises for now. On a side note, "Tracking" in PnP is a feat. While gained as a bonus feat by rangers, technically, most or any class could take it. Tracking is simply a mechanic to -follow- a set of prints to their source though. Survival (or Wilderness Survival) along with Lore, Favored Enemies or other checks are usually required for the tracker to identify what type of trail they are specifically following though. While I'm a big fan of making things more PnP-like whenever I can, adding new feats and skills and scripting a system that accounts for most of the possible variables and then implimenting it module wide isn't something I feel would be worth the time invested, at least at this stage. Maybe someday down the road my plate will be less full and I'll change my mind. In the meantime, Rangers (and Druids) can RP -tracking- as they desire when they know an area well.

Sounds like a plan. Thanks Kal!
