I think either a rethink of the mulsticlassing rules of hin fist paladins and monks is in order or a rewriting of the rules to clarify what is a very confusing set of rules.
as it staands the paladin order states - Yondalla:
Races Allowed: Halflings only.
Paladins of the Protector and Provider are rare, but in halfling-run lands such as Luiren, they serve their fellow citizens with sword and shield. They may multiclass freely as monks after their 6th level as a paladin.
This suggests they can freely take monk and paladin levels after they take 6th levels of paladin and except for the first 6 levels being paladin is in line with the rules set forth in forgotten realms handbook.
Unfortunately theres this - Hin Fist (Lawful Neutral or Lawful Good):
Races Allowed: Halfling (Gnomes and Dwarves with DM approval only)
The halflings of Luiren turn their confidence into belief in the power of a single halfling to master herself and the world. Enterprising Luiren monks sometimes establish monasteries in the north. Although only halflings can study Hin Fist in Luiren, some Hin Fist monasteries outside Luiren accept exceptional gnomes and dwarves. Monks of the Hin Fist order can multiclass as fighters or paladins of Yondalla (halflings only and must start as paladins and may only progress as monks after switching). Monk levels must always equal or exceed their other class levels here.
this contradicts the initial paladin entry and in fact reduces hin fist/monk paladins to the default rules for paladins or monks set forth in the players handbook! furthermore the last sentance contradicts the entire section on multiclassing in that it insists on monk level parity when if a hin fist monk is multiclassing with paladin then its starting out at a lower level than the paladin levels initially and is therefore illegal.
what im getting at here is we need to fix these entries to remove any confusion or doubt or simply remove hin fist and paladins of yondalla from the section entirely and assume they use default rules for paladins then there can be no doubt about them.
