Cost of scrolls with flame weapon?

Scrolls with Flame Weapon now cost 340 gold to scribe.

I'm guessing it's a bug?

On a related sidenote, Greater Magic Weapon costs 450gp to scribe now too. Whether this is intentional or not, I don't know. If this and the change in Flame Weapon's cost is intended though, I'll change the cost table to reflect the changes.

Er... I don't think either of those is a bug. I think that the spells are now properly in line with what the scribing equation should have been all along:

10gp/spell level x resulting scroll caster level = cost to scribe?

for example, flame weapon always crafts a 17th level scroll, which used to be far cheaper for some reason but now costs the proper amount or (10gp x level 2 spell) x 17th caster level scroll = 340gp.

Greater magic weapon always crafts a 15th level scroll, which used to be cheaper as well but now costs the proper amount or (10gp x level 3 spell) x 15th caster level scroll = 450gp.

Unless there is a way to alter exactly what item (the caster level scrolls) is created via crafting, this should be the standard costs.

(edit:) I should also add that as with everything there are caveats to this: many scrolls have staggered caster level scroll results, depending upon the spellcaster level of the scriber making the attempt. For example, this might always result in a caster level 5 shield scroll, no matter what level the spellcaster might be, or a caster level 17 flame weapon scroll, no matter what level the spellcaster might be, simply because there aren't iterations for every possible caster level spell scroll that might be crafted.

yeah sounds right enough to me, its a shame theres not more control allowed ovetr the scroll crafting so you can craft better scrolls or a bunch of weaker ones but hey just getting the pricing and exp right is a good thing

Maybe a new crafting station could be added to the Co-op or a mage guild which allows scribing for cheaper and/or specific caster levels.
