Sorry I had to bail mid adventure. Had to take my wife to the hospital. We are here now. We feared a bleed *in her head, as she has them sometimes*, however it is more swelling instead. They are keeping her for the evening, and pumping her up with more steriods no doubt. Problem is, they have no idea how to stop her brain from what seems endless edema *swelling*.

My wife has taken a turn for the worst. She isn't walking very well at this point, though some has returned. They are going to remove a section of her skull to allow her brain more room since it continues to swell. Needless to say, I won't be at work, but I have a great boss. I'll light a candle for her and you today. Sometimes when we're in our darkest hour a miracle happens. Just keep thinking as positive as you can though it's rough as hell.

They moved her from ICU today to a normal room. She looks rough, but alive. Hopefully she can regain some measure of strength in her left leg, and start walking again. Rehab is next most likely, followed by a stay at her aunts I would guess so that I can work. She has about a week left in the hospital for now I would think. Not quite sure though. Her birthday is on the 13th though. She is -not- happy to spend it in the hospital.

If I had more money, I would bake her a get well soon cake and have it delivered to her ASAP. But next day delivery from England is expensive.
So instead I will send her my love, compassion and pray that she gets better.
I don't pray. Ever.
Not even when my marriage was failing.
Feel special.

Well life can get you many nasty things, but we must leave trough it! As all of them said we will all pray for her. She will get well trust in that. Happiness can cure everything, you only need to trust in it! Make her as happy as you can and tell he everything will be alright. Tell her many people pray for her now.
