I had to share this story because i think it's awesome.
About 6 months ago I had a lady that lived down the road from me give me a laptop and tell me if I can get it to turn on I can have it. Well i took it home and messed with it a little bit and it would not even move. The power cable had the light on but the laptop didn't budge. So i gave up thinking that it might have been a hardware issue and wasn't about to put money in to it.
Today I'm sitting at work talking to my boss and just out of the blue decided to run upstairs to my apt and grab it just to see if he could see anything.
Well guess what. I took me all of 5 seconds to figure it out. I hooked up our universal laptop power adapter to it and BAM! takes right off. The whole problem was the cord was bad so the laptop wasn't getting a charge LOL!
So now I'm uber happy today because i finally have a laptop and though it isn't the greatest, it'll play NWN =p
