Just a question regarding the bleeding/below 0 hit points subroutine: Sometimes, the blood loss occurs very quickly, at other times it drags out to more than 1 game hour per regained point. Is this to be expected? Just curious to know from an OOC point of view. Also, when I regain conciousness (I play a monk so.. er.. this happens a bit frequently ), my enemies are no longer eyeing me for the kill. They stand around until I attack or make overt actions against them (cast a spell, use an item). Again, is this normal behavior for the factions to engage in? * this can be deleted if I am asking something which I was too lazy to research fully in faq. Sorry.

From what I understand, the rate you regain hp is based on con saves. If you've got a buffed con you may come round quicker.
Other than that it's just luck, sometimes you'll get good rolls, sometimes not so good. If you're stuck not regenerating then you're likely just having a string of bad rolls (AKA "an Avi").
When you do come around on 1hp, the game has you spring to your feet. In actual fact you come around enough to drag yourself away from the immediate area. The monsters, assuming you to be dead, may not notice you.

Without going into exact specifics ... when you fall below 0 HP you make a save each round ... IE every six seconds ... and based on a pass or fail you'll bleed more or stabilise. Once stable you make the same check every 6 seconds to determine whether or not you'll regain a hitpoint or not. I've just tweaked the percent chance to regain a hitpoint once you stabilise ... it'll be in our next update. The chance to actually stabilise and stop bleeding will remain as it has though.

Righto thanks both for the replies... I think I get it now. For some reason, I wasn't understanding a randomised chance of recovering another hit point at intervals... gots it nows, I does.

After we update bleeding will be a 1 in 8 chance every round to stabilise ... once stabilised it'll be 1 in 6 chance of regaining a hitpoint. these changes should increase recovery chances and increase time to heal by half.
