Most but not all creatures will be scripted for a chance to drop "low" loot. Most animal types will instead be given custom hides to drop or meats or both depending on the creature.
There will be no "wilderness" loot drops whatsoever. Any loot placeables will need to be in areas with themed encounters. IE ... a goblin cave or troll's lair. I'd like to see the typical "dungeon" area start with a smattering of low level drops about halfway through and build up from there.
Our loot placeables will rock. They all require specific scripts so if there's an appearnce you'd like to include as a loot drop let me know and I'll kick one out. We'll use not only the standard chests and bone piles, but armor and weapon racks ... small bottles and books along with tons of other neat stuff.
Treasure and other loot placeable respawn times:
Low - 20 minutes
Medium - 30 minutes
High - 40 minutes
Unique - 60 minutes
Rules for treasure and loot drops by APL (average party level):
Dungeons APL 1-5; 90 % low loot and 10% medium. (9 low and 1 medium)
Dungeons APL 6-10; 80% low, 20% medium. (12 low and 3 medium)
Dungeons APL 11-20; 70% low, 20% medium, 10% high. (14 low, 4 medium and 2 high)
Dungeons APL 21 and up; 50% low, 30% medium and 20% high. (15 low, 9 medium and 4 high)

This will allow us to limit uber items and add to their rarities. Once "persistance is established ... the unique chest will need to be restocked on occasion as items are removed.
