Because it doesn't make sense to devote an entire topic to a question which can be asked — or answered — in one short paragraph or less, right? Okay, kicking it off now.... So while I was taking Lilibeza for a walk yesterday, this happened. In all my years of playing Neverwinter Nights, I never noticed that Touch Attack spells — ranged or melee — could deal Critical Hits. Is this a relatively new feature implemented by this server, or am I just completely friggin' blind?

I also just saw this in the battle spam yesterday: openly displayed rolls to tell you how well — or how poorly — you rolled to defeat an enemy's Spell Resistance...in this case, Lilibeza trying to push her Scorcher through two yuan-ti's Spell Resistance and succeeding quite handily. I remember the "Billy-Bob attempts to resist spell: [failure/success]" blurbs (I think), but are those bright yellow "Spell Resistance Defeated" blurbs part of a feature that's unique to this server, or have I been deaf, blind and dumb for the past 13 or 14 years?

I might as well reduce forum clutter by deleting my old Q&A mini-threads (at least, the ones which were never answered) and placing them here while I'm at it.... What differences are there among Field Medic Kits, Minor Surgeon's Kits and Surgeon's Kits? Are those differences nothing more than mere appearances, or is there more than that? All three of them seem to heal the same amount of damage (which, with Barleigh's unaltered Heal skill, comes to 20 Hit Points per use), though I haven't yet checked their uses for curing poison or disease. And come to think of it, why are Field Medic Kits sold in shops, while Surgeon's Kits and Minor Surgeon's Kits aren't?

Is there any way to change the spells assigned to a Rod of Fast Buffing?
The Description doesn't say anything about that, and the rod's only Use action fires off all the spells assigned to the rod.
The rod only costs around 1 Gold, but if I were to get rid of the rod and buy another one, would that let me change the instantly cast buffs? Or are the set spells persistent across multiple rods?

Did you ever notice that the Lesser [Fire/Cold/Acid/Electric/Sonic] Orb spells are Conjuration spells...
...yet their "Big Brother" versions are Evocation?
Why is that?
