I may have asked this question once or twice here and there, but how does one explain the remarkable difference in weight between these two skulls? A quick Googling reveals that the human skull, in itself, normally weighs about two or three pounds. The human head (that is, a human skull "fully loaded" with skin, muscle, a brain, eyes, et al) weighs roughly ten pounds. Is the lighter skull a child's skull, or is it not really a human skull at all (ie. a stamped tin relief of a skull, a death mask, or one of those confectionary "sugar skulls" that they hand out during Mexico's Dia de los Muertos)? As a piece of her " roleplay flavor junk," my undead-hunting Kelemvorite Ranger/Cleric Viora carries around the skull of another criminal who previously went to the gallows from which she was spared (as a "memento mori" sort of thing). Is the tenth-pounder Human Skull good enough, or do I have to go whole hog and have her lug around one of the five-pounders? Need input. Thanks.
