I have a question about Monk Shadowdancers.
Under the thread "Monk Orders" it says monks of the Yellow Rose order may multiclass as shadowdancers. Under the thread Prestige Classes it says shadowdancers must have 3 bard levels before taking that class. But a PC can not multiclass as a monk and a bard. So, are monk shadowdancers not allowed or are they an exception from the rule requiring bard levels?
I am not planning on playing a shadowdancer, or not yet anyway, so any answer is fine with me. I am just curious about this conflict in statements.

Short Answer: Yes
Long Answer: Yes, but ... Monks of the "Yellow Rose" can become a Shadow Dancer here. They will not need to have the otherwise reguired 3 levels of Bard like others do. This does not mean that anyone can simply make a Monk here and claim to be in the "Yellow Rose" order though. Actual orders will be treated here as a guild. Some will be stand-alone guilds, some associated with certain temples or other guilds. A PC will have to prove themselves worthy of joining the "Yellow Rose" first off. Secondly, they'll have to undergo a "training"" period with a "Master" that will teach them the "art". Only then will they be able to take Shadow Dancer as a Prestige Class.
So .. in short .. yes they can. Just don't assume that it will happen without a good deal of time and RP involved either though. This goes for most any Prestige Class here.

Nope, not that I am aware of. Still going to have to meet the above requirements.

Nope, not that I am aware of. Still going to have to meet the above requirements. Applications for Monk/SD are suspended while I work out some exploits, but we do intend to allow them. They will however be closely monitored as well.
