I've been wondering about some of the quests, Namely why not demanding a reward makes you lawful.
in the case of timo, retrieving a toy for a child. I'd have to argue that demanding a reward (especially when you get other loot ) -might- make you chaotic, but I'd be more inclined to say that demanding a reward from a child (especially when none was discussed before hand) would shift you along the good/evil axis rather than the lawful/chaotic one.
Retrieving myrta's ring is much the same. Demanding a reward if you discussed one before going shouldn't impart any alignment change, demanding one after the "I'll look into it" might. If there was any lawful vs. chaotic issue there, I'd say that you'd be shifted to chaotic for doing the quest and keeping your mouth shut, and lawful for reporting her dabbling into necromancy.
