Hi.
I was just wondering the "power level" of the server.
Is this a low-magic, hard RP-oriented setting, or will it be a world skewed more towards epic items, hundreds of thousands of coins, and level 40+ enemies?
As a player, I enjoy a setting more oriented for low-magic (at least in the scope of Faerun), with a +5 modifier to a weapons abilities being the maximum pre-epic (as is set forth in the DMG 3.5), for instance, +3, 1d4 fire, and keen being the maximum allowable mods on a sword for pre-epic levels.
I'm very interested in the server, and I even downloaded the CEP2.2 (which was no easy feat with my internet slipping ever now and again), and I was just wondering.

You'll find us to be a low to moderate setting as far as the above goes.
The economy is at times steep. Quality items rarely come cheap here. +1 and +2 items can be found in towns other than our starting town. Guilds along with Class and/or Race Specific Merchants carry +3 items. +4 and +5 weapons will not be sold initially, but may be gained through quests and as RP rewards later. *note: MI Residents are now charged a 6% sales tax on all purchases from out of state online. This includes weapons and potions whether used in Faerun or or brought back to RL when playing online.
Many spells are nerfed some at lower levels, but increase in effectiveness as you gain levels. Some spells even allow an increase in effectiveness over the normal 20th level cap. More will also be changed as we go forward ... constantly testing the balance of the server.
Log in ... look around and drop us a line on what ya think.
