Aid: Duration doubled to 2 Turns per caster level.
Amplify: Duration increased to 1 turn per level. Increases listen skill 10 + your caster level for that period.
Aura of Vitality: Duration doubled to 2 rounds per caster level.
Balagarn's Iron Horn: Adds the caster's level to his/her strength when determining whether or not the spell succeeds.
Ball Lightning: Now scales to 30th level.
Barkskin: Removed visual effects. Spell now progresses through 40th level. Provides a natural AC bonus of 2+1 per every 6 levels. IE, levels 1-6 +3AC, levels 7-12 +4AC and so on until a max of +9.
Bestow Curse: Lowers the targets abilities by +1 per 4 levels of the caster.
Bigby's Forceful Hand: Changed grappling chance from 1d20+14 vs the opponent to 1d20+ caster level. Duration reduced to 1 round per 2 caster levels when successful.
Bigby's Grasping Hand: Duration reduced to 1 round per 2 caster levels.
Black Blade of Disaster: Duration doubled to 2 rounds per caster level. Devastating Critical feat removed from the blade however.
Blackstaff: Duration doubled to 2 rounds per caster level. Does not stack with other enchanment bonuses.
Blade Thirst: Duration doubled to 2 rounds per caster level. Does not stack with other enchanment bonuses.
Bless: Duration is 5 rounds plus 2 rounds per caster level.
Bless Weapon: Duration doubled to 2 turns per caster level. Does not stack with other enchanment bonuses. You empower the touched melee weapon with a +1 enhancement bonus, and a 2d4 damage bonus vs. undead
Blood Frenzy: Doubled duration to 2 rounds per caster level.
Bombardment: Damage cap increased to 1d8 per caster level up to 20.
Burning Hands: Extended level bonus to 1d4 fire damage per castel level until 10th.
Call Lightning: Now does 1d8 per 2 caster levels with no cap.
Chain Lightning: Removed level cap. Now does 1d6 per caster level to first target and half to next.
Circle of Death: Affects a total of 1d3 hit dice per caster level. Max level affected is equal to half your caster level.
Clairaudience / Clairvoyance: Duration is tripled to 3 rounds per caster level. Now increases Spot and Listen checks by 5+1 per caster level. (hopefully it makes this a spell worthy of actual use now)
Clarity: Removed visual effects.
Control Undead: Duration reduced to 3 turns per caster level.
Cure Minor Wounds:Heals 1d4+1 per level (+5 max).
Cure Light Wounds:Heals 1d8+1 per level (+10 max).
Cure Moderate Wounds:Heals 2d8+1 per level (+15 max).
Cure Serious Wounds: Heals 3d8+1 per level (+25 max).
Cure Critical Wounds: Heals 4d8+1 per level (+35 max).
Darkfire: See Flame Weapon below.
Darkness: Has a fixed duraration of 3 rounds per casting now.
Deafening Clang: Duration doubled to 2 rounds per caster level.
Death Armor: A useless spell revamped. Now lasts 5 Rounds per caster level and does 1d + 1 pt per every two caster levels to melee attackers.
Delayed Blast Fireball: Removed level cap on damage. Now does 1d6 per caster level up to 40th.
Earthquake: Increased Damage cap to 1d6 per caster level up to 25.
Endure Elements: Removed visual effects.
Energy Buffer: Removed visual effects.
Find/Remove Traps: Due to traps and locks granting XP here we've rewritten this spell to avoid exploits. It now grants a bonus of 5 + caster level to Search as well as to Disarm Trap. Duration is 1 turn per caster level.
Fireball: Now does 2d6+1d6 per 2 caster levels.
Fire Storm: Does 1d6 per level up to 40th now.
Flame Strike: Now does 2d6+1d6 per 2 caster levels.
Flame Weapon/Darkfire: Duration is 2 minutes per caster level. It will apply 1 point of flame damage per 5 levels. Should work on CEP Weapons now.
Greater Magic Weapon: Duration reduced to 2 turns per caster level. Enchantment is +1 per 5 caster levels. There is nolonger a cap and a 30th level caster achieves a +6 enchantment and a 40th level caster achieves a +8. Should work on CEP Weapons now.
Greater Restoration: Now restores a maximum of 10 hp per caster level. All other effects remain standard.
Greater Spell Mantle: Protects against 3d4+1 per caster levels of spells now. Also swapped visual bubble with less laggy "shield" type.
Greater Stoneskin: Removed visual appearance change. Increased protection granted to 10 points per caster level up to 30th.
Harm: Harms the target for 10 hp per caster level. Undead are also healed by this same amount now.
Haste: Doubled duration to 2 rounds per caster level. (with no perma haste items IG and limited means of any haste beyond spells we'll increase this as a test)
Heal: Now heals only 10 hp per caster level. If used vs Undead and healing exceeds their current hp, they will however be destroyed now.
Healing Circle: Heals allies in the area 1d8+1 per caster level up to 40th now.
Inflict Minor Wounds: Does 1d4+1 per level (+5max).
Inflict Light Wounds: Does 1d8+1 per level (+10 max).
Inflict Moderate Wounds: Does 2d8+1 per level (+15 max).
Inflict Serious Wounds: Does 3d8+1 per level (+25 max).
Inflict Critical Wounds: Does 4d8+1 per level (+35 max).
Isaacs Lesser Missile Storm: Level cap for casters increased to one per level up to 20 max.
Isaacs Greater Missile Storm: Level cap for missiles increased to 1 per caster level to a max of 30.
Lesser Spell Mantle: Switches aura to less laggy "shield" type.
Keen Edge: Duration reduced to 2 mins per caster level. Should work on all melee weapons now.
Knock: Due to locks and traps giving XP here we've changed this spell to avoid easy exploits. It now merely grants a bonus of 10 + your caster level to open locks. Duration is 1 turn per caster level.
Lightning Bolt: 2d6+1d6 per two caster levels.
Mage Armor: Now gives a +4 bonus to armor. It does not stack with existing enchantments. (IE ... if you've +1 or better armor equiped it will temporarilly become +4 for the spells duration.)
Magic Missile: Changed to 1 missile per 3 caster levels, but moved cap up to 10 missiles at 30th level.
Mass Heal: Heals all allies in the area of effect 10 hp per caster level. If this total exceeds the current hp of undead within the area, the spell will also actually kill them now and not leave them with 1d4 hp left. (IE .. a 16th level caster heals 160 points max were as a 30th will heal 300)
Negative Energy Burst: Removed level cap. Does 1d8+1 per level up to 40th.
Polymorph Self: Duration is 1 minute per 2 caster levels.
Protection from Chaos: New
Removed visual effects.
Protection from Evil: Removed visual effects.
Protection from Good: Removed visual effects.
Protection from Law: NEW
Removed visual effects.
Quillfire: Increased damage cap to 2d8 + 1 point /2 levels (max 15)
Regenerate: Tripled duration to 3 rounds per caster level. (someone might actually use it now)
Resurrection: Only restores a maximum of 150 hp after raising the character. (should make those extra bonuses to healing spells balance out some)
Sanctuary: Duration doubled to 2 rounds per caster level. (hopefully this allows resourceful healers a chance to heal safely longer)
See Invisibility: duration doubled to 2 turns per caster level.
Shadow Shield: Removed visual appearance change.
Shapechange: Duration is 1 minute per 2 caster levels.
Spell Mantle: Absorbs 1d4+1 per caster level of spells now. Replaced visual with less laggy "shield" type.
Stoneskin: Removed visual appearance change and increased protection to absord 10 hp per level to a max of 150 hp.
Sunbeam: Increased level cap on damage vs undead to 25d6.
Sunburst: Increased level cap on damge from 25d6 to 30d6 to encourage pure class casters.
Tensor's Transformation: Duration is 1 minute per 2 caster levels.
True Strike: Duration extended to 3 rounds from 1-1/2. This should make casters of it consider its use more often, especially when facing a "boss" at the end of a dungeon or encounter area.
True Seeing: Grants see invisible and ultra vision effects. Adds 5 + 2 points per caster level to Search and Spot Skills.
Virtue: Now grants +1 hitpoint per caster level.
Wail of the Banshee: Decreased max targets affected to 1 per 3 caster levels. (this has been of of the top spell abuses IG with casters spamming it constantly and wiping out mobs)
Web: Decreased duration to 1 round per 3 caster levels. (for lag reduction mainly)
