I was just giving you a hard time based on your wording. I've no authority to answer that question. We'll have to wait on Arse to answer it.

// Can I bring in a monk if he promises not to use weapons? Actually that's a good question, I've been thinking about the rules. At the moment what I have come up with is: ---------------------- All magic using classes are allowed to participate. This includes arcane and divine magic users. No mêlée or ranged attacks are to be permitted unless they form part of a spell (i.e. the spell requires a successful touch attack). Or if the caster has transformed into a creature via polymorph or similar spell. No use of items that cast spells or have spell like effects that are charges are use per day. This includes wands, rods, scrolls and potions. ---------------------- So yes, you can bring your monk, but he will not be allowed to hand out any kicks or punches, only attack using his caster levels. If he has magic resistance this could be interesting!

Sunday the 19th of June at 8pm UK / 3pm Eastern looks like it's the best time for all.
I'll pencil that in and confirm closer to the date.

He has two ranger levels. He can stand there and pick his nose. Hopefully someone can cast stone to flesh. XD It's more fun when they can't.

Reminder: This event is scheduled for Sunday the 19th of June at 8pm UK / 3pm Eastern. Location is to be confirmed as unfortunately the changes to the placables mean that the arena Darky & I spend hours creating no longer functions. I'm thinking a minimalist arena this time, so spectators are warned to watch out for area of effect spells!

I'd forgotten that this Sunday here is "Father's Day". I'm being drug out of the house for -so called fun- and won't likely make the event. (Actually, my oldest daughter just arrived in town to suprise me so....

The first round of the contest has taken place. Grodda Elfbiter is the winner. Round 2 will follow when we have some challengers for Grodda's title. Grodda took the opportunity to mock Elven high magic, commenting "Elves and gnomes are a lot of talk concerning magic. I ask you where were the elven high mages or a particular gnome? It's obvious they don't have the stomach for real combat magic."
