So I reinstalled my OS and began the updating process only to discover... they still didn't fix the damn problem!
So I call in to the Best Buy store and the geek squad agent proceeds to remind me of how the policies work and how this will be the third time they'll be sending it out for the same problem. To which I reply that as someone who worked in geek squad I know how the policies work which is why I bought the accidental handling policy so I know I'm covered. What I want to know is why you aren't cursing out the service center monkeys that can't seem to fix a laptop. Oh by the way I noticed they f'd up the front part of my laptop case prying it apart.
Needless to say I will be going in Saturday to kick some butt and laugh at their pathetic flounderings toward fixing my laptop. Two more strikes away, not counting this one, towards getting a brand new laptop.
