Super fun tonight everyone,
Thanks to Donald for the drinking humor and glad I had enough drinks to go around lol. So much happened in that dungeon. Always a pleasure to see another place I have never visited on the server. Too big! Hee hee..
But hey, would love to RP and get to know some of your toons sometime. Maybe next time we can have a rousing game of cards around the camp fire in Orlbar or tell ghost stories or something.
Hope to learn more about everyone's characters! -Avelent

Cheers to psionics, endoftheline, avelant and hyurg for awesome walk in the woods today! What a strong group of players you can be. I often feel way out of my league rp-wise, but it really makes me appreciate this place more. Thanks for letting me tag along. Another kudos to hungry crow and corky (forgot player name sorry!) really fun and immersive trip in that goblin cave. Really sorry i had to bail right after. Had a lot of LOLs and even more fun. Cheers! Ps. I saw like 10-12 players online today. Considering the age of this game and the overall decline of players over the years its pretty awesome to have that amount of logins. Great job!!

I second this. It was a grand adventure that was nearly cut short by not one but two demon spiders ... nothing should have that many legs! Also thanks to hyurg and Travesty for having Trish tag along to the gobby fort ... a well done setting visually I must say... and I must apologize to poor Furg for leaving him stranded but my internet went bye bye ... infact Im typing this via my phone. All in all my first three days here have been nothing short of fun and has sparked some interesting ideas for some writing in the future. Kudos to all! ~P A few folk have asked me why the "bebeliths" strip your armor. Well, because by default, they actually destroy your armor with a ruin armor effect is why. Since they can normally destroy most armor, shields and helms upon hit, even if only used as a -Boss- encounter, most folks would simply avoid anyplace I dropped them due to the risks of equipment losses, which can vastly outweigh any rewards gained by defeating one. So I rescripted the effect here to merely unequip these items instead. The result during a fight with one is therefore about the same difficulty, we just don't have to break down and weep openly when we lose all our new shiny stuff after its over.

I really enjoyed adventuring with you guys. Love overcoming tough challenges and the RP was great. This place has a nice atmosphere from what I've seen so far.

I just want to say thanks for the great outing tonight. It was good having Micteu amongst us again and along with Jaynah, Justice Dragon, Chilango and myself, we had quite the epic outing. It's always fun to see my latest scripts working well, even if I did spend half of the time dead on the floor watching.

It was nice to be back and hang out with you guys. I'm not sure where we were, but it was cool to explore a new area, too.

Oh, look! This thread exists. Kudos to Hungry Crow for tonight's raid on the Yellowtooth tribe. With Hugo Pick (his gnome) and Rubella Thrusher (my halfling) against a truckload of goblins, it was like the Battle of the Shorties up in there! Even though Crow was worried about not being able to roleplay on account of real-life weariness and other such concerns. Hugo was every bit the haughty intellectual jerk that he was supposed to be. Like I said, Crow, it would be a dull world if every character in it was unswervingly polite and friendly, wouldn't it? (Besides, as Hugo so astutely judged, Rubella's far from being a saint herself, despite her "lowly, harmless beggar" vibe.) Tune in next time, when Don and Ashanti join forces and finally locate the ground passage from Loudwater to Elvenport, right?

That is far more praise than I deserve. In fact I am just happy to be here on this awesome server with its multitude of great players. The fact that they tolerate my bad jokes and awful puns is simply a bonus. And you Wids are a fantastic addition to The Savage Frontier. Thanks for joining. And a big thank you to Kalbearn, the rest of the DMs and builders, and all the players here. Kudos to you all.
